This A.M., thats right Y'all* I'm in Dallas!
If you are fix'in* to visit Dallas, or anywhere in Texas you have to experience the taste of authentic BBQ cuisine.
Barbecue is a traditional style of preparing beef in the cuisine of Texas. It is smoked meat that falls off the bone and melts in your mouth, paired with a homemade BBQ sauce. The concierge at my hotel recommended that we visit Peggy Sue BBQ. A casual family owned restaurant that still maintains its 1950's decor and personality to cowboy boot!
To start my meal off I ordered the Empire Bakery Jalepeno Cheese Bread, second, the Rib Combo with a combined pound of baby back ribs and spare ribs, coleslaw and cheesy squash. I washed this down with a sweetened ice tea and completed the meal with a "Not plum but pert near"* peach cobbler and ice cream.
