This A.M. I present to you araxi.
Located in the heart of Whistler village, this is  where I can officially claim I have enjoyed the best beef tenderloin in my life.  In 2008, Chef Gordon Ramsay, claimed this as the best restaurant in Canada and I would agree, it definitely has won my heart.
Executive Chef James Walt, creates a menu based on local sustainable ingredients, and the presentation is colourful and thoughtful.

Smoked Roma Tomato  Soup
goat cheese crostini, gem tomatoes, olive oil and baby basil

Assorted Local Beet Salad
with Vancouver Island buffalo mozzarella and Root Down organic greens beet and juniper viniagrette, beet chips

Canada Triple A (Alberta) Tenderloin
local potato dauphinoise, asparagus tips and local golden beets toasted peppercorn sauce and chimichurri sauce
Wild BC Salmon
quinoa and chive risotto, crispy green asparagus and summer vegetable powder yuzu, olive oil and chive vinaigrette
Valrhona Chocolate Tart
warm chocolate ganache in a sweet pastry crust
chantilly cream and bittersweet chocolate sauce
Mango + Strawberry Sorbet
house churned daily and served with a honey tuile
