Barque Smokehouse

This A.M. I woke up from a dream about roasting marshmallows.  I think my visit to Barque Smokehouse last week and the combination of eating BBQ for the last few days has put me into a BBQ enchantment.

If you are a 'meat-atarian' this place is for you.   This place is so serious, they side you up with 3 tools, a fork a knife and a BBQ sauce brush.
We ate the Sampler for two, you could pick 3 meats  and 3 sides.
Meats: Brisket, Beef Rib, Lamb Sausage, Competition Chicken Thigh, 1/3 Rack Baby Back Ribs (sweet heat or dry rub).
Sides: Fries, Cuban Corn, Hearts of Palm Salad, Pickled Platter, Spinach Spaetzle, Smoked Asparagus, Barque Caesar, Mixed Vegetables.

With everything smoked onsite, the restaurant claims that once they run out they run out!  It takes 22 hours to smoke the meats.  Located on 299 Roncesvalles  Ave. I recommend you make a reservation because the last two times I went we had to wait 30 minutes to get in.  This place is always busy and trust me you don't want to miss out on this!
