Delicious Baked Stuffed Apples

This A.M.  you will find 6 apples packed with yummy cinnamon buttery oats in my oven.
In Canada, our apple season is almost done, but with Thanksgiving coming this weekend, there will be lots of apple pies and home made apple goodness!

I got this recipe from Canadian Chef Michael Smith's Cookbook, Fast Flavours.

It's super easy to make and the aroma will fill your home with a wonderful cozy smell.

Step 8~The Last Step is eating this wonderful treat, serve with vanilla ice cream at dinner, or eat for breakfast(Like me)


Step 1 Wash 6-8 Macintosh Apples

Step 2 cut tops off (1/2 inch) and remove cores

Step 3 In a bowl add one cup of oats as much cinnamon as you want 1/2 a cup of butter and brown or white sugar.  I used white here, and about 1/2 cup.

Step 4 mix well with hands until the oats crumble

I added some home made Granola from a local bakery (just a handful!)

Step 5 Stuff apples and load them up with extra stuff on top, top with apple slice lids!

Step 6 Place tight;y in a baking dish.

Step 7 Place in preheat oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
