The Monk's Kettle

This A.M.  I recommend you visit the The Monk's Kettle. Located at 3073 Bloor St. West  Toronto, and is literally a 4 minute walk from the Royal York Subway station.

This cozy little beer emporium, is always teeming with people. If you want to enjoy a late night snack and a bevy or even dinner or brunch, the food is carefully prepared and fresh.

Brunch, Lunch and Dinner menus cover a variety of freshly made dishes.
The "food philosophy is simple; passionate cooking using only the best seasonal produce available from our local Ontario growers and suppliers. All menu items will be cooked to order on premises, using local and mostly organic ingredients".
The Monks Kettle specializes in craft beer, "...named in homage to the Belgium Trappist monks who arguably were the first craft brewers, and still practice this art with over seven monasteries actively brewing in Europe. The Kettle is a reference to the vessel in which they brewed beer and resembles a cauldron".
The Monk's Burger, freshly ground beef (YES! They grind the meat upon ordering!)
Toasted on a brioche bun with bacon and cheese, caramelized onions and prosciutto can also adorn your burger at your request. Sided with freshly cut fries, it was a burger that hit the spot.
I give their Brunch a 9 out of 10.  My eggs were cooked perfectly! However, I think I will try the beer sampler and the charcuterie board on my next visit.
