Old Firehall Confectionary

This A.M. I'm feeling like a kid in a candy store, as I reminisce about my first visit to the Old Firehall Confectionary in Unionville.

I've always dreamed about what it would be like to visit the Willie Wonka Chocolate Factory, and I am absolutely sure I more or less had the same experience and emotions when I stepped into this Confectionary's door.

Handmade Truffles
Imagine large counters on both sides, filled with truffles, fudge, cookies, cakes, pastries, ice-cream, and more.  Wall to wall, this shop is packed with candy, chocolate, sugar and even a showcases a full section dedicated to maple syrup products.

After I came to, my eyes filled with enchanting handmade truffles, I was then intrigued by the behind the counter scenes.  Confectionary chefs and helpers dressed in professional white aprons and hats busily creating, mouth watering, sweet tooth delights in their open kitchen.
I concur, I have died and gone to chocolate heaven.

I learned that their award-winning Chocolatiers are continually developing new flavours for their famous truffles using only the finest Callabaut Belgian chocolate, cream and natural products and compete in regular competitions across the world.
